I have just ordered McDonals thru their McDelivery 1300-13-1300 number. Sad, I was hopping mad! Angry as hell when after waiting for almost an hour, being hungry. They actually sent the order ELSEWHERE! Can you believe it?
And this is actually after I had clearly state to the agent to send it to my mom's house in Kelana Jaya. Even gave her the full address inclusive of postcode. AND STILL, they sent it my store in Pavilion. btw her name is Sujata, ID 161 To make matters worse, when my staff called me up and said that they paid for the order and expected ME to pay it back. Sheet, I can't believe I shouted at Malina, saying that since they knew I was off today, they shouldn't have bloody paid for that order before checking it with me. In their defence, they did try to call me but hello like once? They should have made the delivery guy wait.
Honestly. McDonalds sucks at customer service. They made a mistake. A very bad one. Gave me godamn grief. I ordered at 6pm and now its 7:38pm and still I am calling and receiving calls from their call center trying to resolve this. I also just found out that McDonalds actually outsourced the call center to telebiz sdn bhd, who's CEO is Bernard Lim I think. Seriously, McDonalnds should really reconsider their outsourcing partner since I do not think that telebiz actually trains their staff in handling customer complaints. their order maybe but definitely not their complaints.
After the whole mess of a call from the shop, I called up the hotline again. This time Devan ID 208 answered the call. I immediately asked to speak to a supervisor and the guy was stuttering and took a bloody long time, including putting me on hold and lastly he called up Sujata. It was just before that, when I was losing it that I asked for his ID. I guess he got scared and called up Sujata who had no choice but to give me their ID. Boy, did I have to insist.
*tips: not only do you have to ask a tele agent's name but you must also ask for a unique Identification number, usually their Employee Id. This helps negate their oft used, we have 7 sujata working here.
Basically, it took ages for them to even find out what happended, you know reviewing the recording and stuff. I hate waiting because I always have a feeling that they will make u wait and put you on hold in efforts to tire u down. So I called up twice. I told them to call me up and put me on hold but to no avail. Damn, its their problem and I have to pay for it thru my phone bill.
Basically, when it was clear it was their fault, they sent my order to my mums house but guess what? I HAD TO FREAKING PAY FOR IT
yea I had to pay for it. so that means i had to pay twice.
so I called again, and again and again and again and still its not resolved. The also didnt make ANY effort to make me feel better. The least they could give was a free meal. In fact, I believe they should have thrown in some discount vouchers or coupons.
IN FACT due to the stress I endured, and the fact that I raised my voice with my Manager, they should RECOMPENSE me for at least RM5000. Thats what I think.
Of course your opinions matter too. What do you think I should do next? complain to the McDonalds management? Let it go? live and let live? or screw McDonalds over?
